Colleen was married in 1972 in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. Enrolled at the University of Gainsville 1972 to 1976, studying Accounting & Business Management. After graduating she enlist in the U.S.A.F (The United States Air Force)
In 1978 she was promoted to 2nd Lt. She then selected and trained in (O.S.I) Special Officers Investigations, which entailed traveling worldwide with the United States Air Force overseas countries including Athens Greece, Spain, Olson Korea, and other United States stations.
After eight years active service followed by four years in the USAF reserves, she decided to change course to follow her love of jewelry, and seek an education in that industry. After learning the basics it became obvious that becoming a Gemologist was the path to success to secure a position in a high in a jewelry store.
Colleen studied at the Gemological Institute Of America Santa Monica Ca. and their New York campus, which gave her the title G.G. ( Graduate Gemologist) which is reserved for only the highest achievers in the study of Gemology.
Colleen secured a position with the renowned designer Boris La Beau Jewelers on Madison Avenue New York City, as a Graduate Gemologist. During this period of her career, it became apparent that fine watches were an integral part of the industry. This was the start of a lifelong love of high in watches which became her second field of expertise.
Colleen now works full time as a Gemologist, personal assistant, and store manager for the twelve years for The David Stern Jewelers Group of Companies located in Boca Raton Fl.
